Jann Ledbetter is an award winning nature and wildlife photographer whose work reflects a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the natural world. Her photography requires her to slow down, observe closely, and experience what she calls “the presence of wonder.”

Based on Whidbey Island, Jann spends much of her time exploring the landscapes and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest, as well as traveling to other regions rich in natural beauty. Retirement has provided her the freedom to pursue her lifelong curiosity about nature and conservation, and she actively volunteers with several local organizations aligned with these values.

Through her photography, Jann seeks to inspire others to notice, appreciate, and care for the world around them. All of her wildlife images are created from a respectful distance using a long lens, in accordance with ethical wildlife photography guidelines.

Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it!
